Early morning leave at 0600 explore Sigiriya Rock.   Sigiriya- It was named as the eighth wonder of ancient world, a rock fortress of Sri Lanka. The entrance looks like the mouth of a lion, it stands tall even today reminding of ancient wonder. There are frescoes you can see inside the mighty rock. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed world heritage site. Return to hotel and breakfast.   Leave at 1000 drive to Kandy. Travel time 3 hrs. .   En route visit Dambulla cave temple and Spice garden.   The Golden Cave Temple is the largest and the best preserved temple that dates back to the 5th and to the 13th century has over 150 Buddha statues and Buddhist mural painting cover this 2000sq meter area. This is a UNESCO world heritage site. Spice garden   Enjoy Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. Visit a spice garden, where aroma of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overwhelm the senses and the visitors are provided an insight into an age old industry of spice production, which attracted many European and Asian merchants to the ports of ancient Sri Lanka. Reach to Kandy and check in to the hotel. Leave at 1800 visit Temple of tooth.   Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom. Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner.   Overnight stay in Kandy.

Ambuluwawa Tower Ambuluwawa is a biodiversity complex and Sri Lanka's first multi-religious sanctuary situated in the central highlands of the country. Distance from Kandy is 25.2 km. Ambuluwawa, located at a height of 3567 feet, on the top of peak that rises just four kilometers as of Gampola. It is an easy and safe climb with spectacular views. Overnight stay in Nuwaraeliya.

Nuwaraeliya is also called “The Little England”, the structures have a British touch here. After breakfast, visit to Nuwaraeliya city and before drive to Nanu Oya rail station.   The train ride (4hr) from Nanu Oya to Ella is undoubtedly one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Magnificent views of the tea plantation, forests and mountains are something you should not miss. *Train tickets needs to be booked in advance.   On arrival at Ella you will be picked up by our driver and proceed to Ella hotel.   Overnight stay in Ella.    

  Sunrise in Ella is worth an early wake up!   Breakfast   Ella is full of amazing things to do, from hiking the green mountain peaks to, bathing in refreshing waterfalls. The town itself has a bustling atmosphere, with plenty of exciting cafes and bars to enjoy.   These are some of the top things to do while you’re in Ella.   Climb up Little Adam's Peak to view sunrise/sunset   Walk on the railway track to Nine Arches Bridge   Ravana pool club   Ravana swing rope   *Any of these activities can be done on the first day. Breakfast. Leave at 1000 to Udawalawa .Travel time 3 hrs. On the way visit Ravana water fall.   Reach to Udawalawa and lunch at Ella.   Thereafter visit to   Elephant Transit Home–(Feeding time is 10.30, 12.30, 2.30 pm)   “Eth Athuru Sevana” or the “Elephant Transit Home” is the Asia's first rehabilitation center for elephants. The center takes of abandon calves who need care and nourish them until they are capable of living on their own and release them to various national parks. Next visit Udawalawa National Park   Udawalawa National Park is undoubtedly the best place in Sri Lanka to see wild Asian Elephants throughout the year. There are about 500 elephants in the park and they often roam large herds. Overnight stay at Udawalawa.

After breakfast, proceed to Mirissa. The drive from Udawalawa to Mirissa takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Have lunch in Mirissa and check in to the hotel. Relax at the beach. Stay overnight in Mirissa.

Things to do   Explore Mirissa beach & Coconut Tree Hill   Coconut Tree Hill   Coconut Tree Hill is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Sri Lanka and one of the top things to do in Mirissa. The private coconut farm is just a 15-minute walk from Mirissa Beach and offers some of the best views in the area! Thereafter drive to Galle en route visit Dalawella beach and Galle fort.   Swing Rope-Dalawella beach The swing at Dalawella Beach is the Instagram swing in Sri Lanka.   The swing is outside a small guesthouse (Dream Cabanas) and is attached midway up a palm tree that stretches out towards the beach.   The Gale Dutch fort   Turtle hatchery   Sea Turtles are one of threatened species of the world. Southern costal line is a common place for laying eggs by sea turtles. Visit turtle hatcheries and learn how they are conserved and protected. The Galle Dutch fort, this is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. Go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo. You’ll be seeing the famous Gangarama temple & Seema Malakaya, Red Mosque, Lotus tower and Galle Face Green.
